EW ANNOUNCES 2010 PROJECT OF THE YEAR The entry deadline for the 12th annual ELEVATOR WORLD Project of the Year competition is August 31. Companies that recently completed projects that exemplified team effort, had the ability to overcome challenges and successfully met the needs of clients will be recognized in EW’s January 2010 issue. EW is seeking entries in eight categories: Elevators, New Construction; Elevators, Modernization; Escalators, New Construction; Escalators, Modernization; Inclined Elevators; Accessibility Systems; Private-Residence Elevators; and Automated People Movers. A panel of distinguished industry experts will select a winner in each category in which entries are received, and the winners will be announced in the January 2009 issue of EW.
